Rock Climbing in Saudi Arabia

I enjoy rock climbing despite the fear I get while climbing. It pushes me to the edge and most of the times I cave and fail to complete a route but that’s okay. I still do it over and over again. I’m the type of person who find it very difficult to disconnect and be present. Rock climbing forces me to think of the now; I can’t think of work, content creation, what I should do and what not. It keeps me focused and puts me in the present which is a rare occasion for me. I’ve been training at the Saudi Climbing Academy on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I always look forward to rock climbing training.

For those who are keen to try rock climbing, they can finally try them in Jeddah at the Saudi Climbing Academy, the first of its kind and managed by the Climbing & Hiking Federation. The academy welcomes anyone above the age of 10 years old to do try outs or take an indoor climbing course.
